In multi-user mode, the workstations ( that don't host QBW files) can access the company file stored on another computer. When they failed to do so, it results in H202 error QuickBooks. It basically occurs when QuickBooks can't establish a secured connection with the server. Here is how you can resolve the error H202.
• The first step is to test network connectivity. For that, you need to open the command box, type ping servername, and hit enter. If you receive a slow reply, that indicates the network needs to be fixed.
• You can fix the network issues using a tool known as QuickBooks file doctor.
• Another solution is configuring the firewall settings so that it may not block the QuickBooks.
• Lastly, manually set the QuickBooks to the running mode using this path. Go to services > QuickBooks DBXX, Select Startup type as automatic, and the service status must be running or started. Once done, click Apply and click Ok.
